Seven Sacraments of the Holy Catholic Church

Sacred Gifts From Christ Himself

The sacraments are sacred milestones in our Catholic faith, given to us by Christ to fill us with grace and draw us closer to God. Each sacrament is an encounter where we receive His strength, mercy, and love to guide our lifelong journey.

01

Baptism

Baptism is the first step in your journey of faith, cleansing you of original sin and welcoming you into the Catholic Church community. Through water and the Holy Spirit, you are reborn as a child of God.

03

Eucharist

The Eucharist is the source and summit of our Catholic faith. In the celebration of Mass, we receive the true Body and Blood of Jesus Christ, nourishing our souls and drawing us closer to Him.

05

Anointing of the Sick

This sacrament brings comfort, strength, and healing to those who are ill or facing serious health challenges. It offers the grace of God’s presence and peace during times of suffering.

07

Holy Orders

Holy Orders is the sacrament through which men are ordained as deacons, priests, or bishops to serve the Church. Through this calling, they dedicate their lives to sharing the Gospel and administering the sacraments.

02

Confirmation

Confirmation strengthens your bond with the Church and completes the grace of Baptism. Through the gifts of the Holy Spirit, you are empowered to live out your faith boldly and with conviction.

04

Reconciliation (Confession)

Reconciliation offers the opportunity to seek God’s mercy, healing, and forgiveness. Through this sacrament, we are restored to grace and renewed in our relationship with God and others.

06

Holy Matrimony

Holy Matrimony unites a man and woman in a lifelong covenant of love and partnership. It reflects Christ’s love for His Church and provides a foundation for family life.

Want to Become Catholic?

The RCIA is the Journey of Faith by which adults are received into the Catholic Church.  We also work with adult Catholics who are baptized but who now want to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation. Similarly, the RCIC is the route for youth between seven and seventeen who want to become members of the Catholic Church.
